Sarah Silverblatt-Buser
Sarah Silverblatt-Buser is a director, dancer, choreographer, and educator raised in New Mexico. Since 2018, she has been mostly based in Paris while performing internationally with Yoann Bourgeois and François Veyrunes. She has choreographed works ranging from a concert relating parkour to the music of Steve Reich, to an AR children’s experience for the Musée d’Orsay, to performing in mixed reality with Bourgeois. She has danced in commercial videos and performed at the Grammy Awards with Harry Styles. In 2023, she was Artist-in-Residence at the Barnard Movement Lab and a Guest Lecturer, teaching improvisation and digital performance, in the Dance Department at Barnard College of Columbia University. With Gordon, she is co-directing a Bolero/Techno concert using motion capture, AI and other digital technology for the Theatre du Chatelet in Paris. She is also the author and director of the collective VR experience, Collective Body, produced by Atlas V and commissioned by Lincoln Center. Sarah has written extensively on dance and worked in several major NYC cultural institutions while freelancing as a dancer.
